  1. Sustainable Ventures The department is established in 1970 and is well equipped and has specious laboratory with departmental library facility. Two Short courses viz.  Certificate Course in Horticulture and Gardening and Diploma Course in Horticulture and Gardening are conducted by the department.
  2.  Sustainable Ventures Department have well qualified, dedicated and efficient faculty. Always ready to incorporate new ideas for the improvement of departmental progress. Active involvement of faculty in the selfless help for the student’s initiative to brighten their future.  Faculty is actively involved in research and publication. They have also presented research work in national and international conferences. The staff members are actively engaged in research and extension activities.  Students are motivated and guided for undertaking small research project activities for intercollegiate competitions, which helps them in improving their experimental skills, writing, interpretation and presentation skills.

Sustainable Ventures Every year, department also conduct student centric activities like BOTANICA competitions, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students to hone their talents, present posters on the selected theme and polish public speaking skills. This activity helps to broaden their horizons of knowledge and also develop a healthy competitive spirit
  4.   Sustainable Ventures Short tour of botanical excursions is regularly arranged by the department to maintain enthusiasm of Botany subject. Botany department also monitors campus beautification as well as establishment Botanical garden, Medicinal plant garden and Cactus garden for educational purpose as well as for research activity. The department has also organized National webinar.
